Every year, CBI holds several fundraisers to close the budget gap that is not accounted for by our membership commitments and the High Holiday Appeal. Our 2019 campaign will take place from May 1-8 and will celebrate the arrival of 7 exquisite custom-designed covers to beautify our treasured Torahs. Designed by Judaica artist Renee Savitz, each cover depicts a scene of Jerusalem. The designs and colors complement the architecture and décor of our sanctuary and chapel so that both current and future generations will enjoy their beauty, significance and spiritual impact. They will be installed prior to Shavuot, and we will celebrate their arrival with a festive community Kiddush Luncheon on that Shabbat.
Your family has the unique opportunity to create a
personalized connection to our new Torah covers. While
every gift will support this special campaign, those who
contribute $1000 or more are invited to have your name
embroidered on the inside of one of the Torah covers.
Those who contribute $3600 or more are invited to make
your gift in memory of or in honor of a person or a
special occasion in addition to your name. Just click on
